Local Employment Opportunities
Rob has been with DICK’S Sporting Goods for over twenty years and has helped establish new stores, markets and concepts. He has worked at various locations in New York, including Buffalo, Elmira, Rochester and Victor, as well as in Richmond, VA, and Dallas, TX. When Rob is not in the store assisting others, being outdoors is his passion. Whether he is golfing, camping, hiking or fishing, this is his domain. Rob also has a passion for mountain biking and was sponsored as a specialized mountain bike cross-country racer. Fun fact: He has also taught bicycle maintenance and repair for a community college!
Meaghan brings experience from multiple departments within the DICK’S organization, including Merchandising, Product Development, Strategy and Analytics, and, most recently, Omni-Fulfillment. She is excited to test, learn and innovate at DICK’S House of Sport as well as create deep, meaningful connections with the greater Rochester community. She believes that miracles happen every day. And, as she does every spring, she believes the Mets will win the World Series this year!
Common Purpose Director
Matt started his career at DICK’S Sporting Goods at the age of nineteen and has held various leadership roles within the company. Matt has a passion for anything sports and is an avid Bills, Syracuse and Yankees fan. Matt is a family man and a Rochester Native, and he is excited to bring the DICK’S House of Sport experience to the entire Rochester community!
Community Integration Director
Meggan comes to the DICK’S Sporting Goods family with over twenty years of community engagement and event planning experience. She’s most excited to connect with people and organizations to provide the community with greater access to active, healthy lifestyles! She believes that everyone can make a powerful impact that creates a ripple of positivity in their communities. PS: She’s also a massive hockey fan! Pond hockey tournament on the HOS field, anyone?
Service and Selling Director
Kristen brings over fifteen years of retail management experience in addition to her positive, outgoing and infectious personality! Her background will bring her passion for diversity, inclusion and athlete engagement to life at DICK’S House of Sport. Kristen is also a proud Marine mom and has three children, who she credits for making her the family advocate she is today. She believes that “ winners are not those who don’t fail, but those who fail to quit.”
Madison has worked in retail for just over ten years and coached gymnastics for six years. She couldn’t wait to jump on the opportunity to be a part of the new DICK’S House of Sport store. Madison is so excited to have the opportunity to work in a store where the Rochester community is the focus point and to help reinvent the way people experience a brick-and-mortar store. When Madison isn’t on site, she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, kayaking and watching any sports!
Rob’s passion for all things outdoors brought him to the company almost seven years ago. Since his start with the company, he has been proud to serve in two carrying leads positions: Operations Manager, and now Hardlines Manager. Rob believes a genuine passion for people and work ethic will achieve anything in life. When Rob is not outside, he enjoys spending vacation days traveling, both domestically and internationally.
With more than a decade of fashion retail management experience, her passions are people and fashion. She believes that clothes create confidence and are one of the best ways that we can express ourselves. In this position, she looks forward to connecting and forming relationships with customers, building their confidence and helping them look and feel their best.
O’Brian has been a sneaker enthusiast for years! He loves learning his athletes’ personal style and outfitting them to express themselves. Shop the Footwear Department and let O’Brian get your feet looking fresh!
Micha comes with a background in the nonprofit and staffing industry. Her passion is people! Micha is most excited about building an inclusive, diverse and welcoming environment for all teammates and customers who walk into DICK’S House of Sport. She believes that when we listen to each other and celebrate our differences, we become better versions of ourselves. She is also a certified yoga instructor who loves to spread magic and positivity through personal connections.
Field Visual Merchandiser
Meredith brings 20+ years of experience from the visual, art & design world to the new store concept. In her down time, you can find her painting in her art studio or exploring the Finger Lakes area, where she lives with her husband and children.
PGA Golf Professional
Sean is the DICK’S House of Sport Golf Pro. Sean has been a PGA Class A Professional since 1999. He is also the Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams at Nazareth College. He has supported the Special Olympics of NY as a volunteer Golf Coach from 2006-2011 and is TPI certified. Book a lesson or a fitting and meet Sean in one of our Trackman Bays!
She brings experience from a non-profit background and is extremely excited to intertwine her love for sport and community. She firmly believes that “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” An avid ice hockey player and spectator, she can be found out on the ice all winter long.
Marketing and Communications Manager
Katie brings more than ten years of experience to her role leading awareness and promotion strategy for the store. As a new member of Visit ROC, she can’t wait to dig into the Finger Lakes region and the tourism efforts behind it. Katie is a foodie at heart, and when she isn’t at the store, she enjoys trying new restaurants, wineries and breweries around Rochester. May she recommend Ravines Wine Cellars 2017 Dry Riesling vintage? It is a must-try!
Community Relations Manager
Dani is pumped to take on this new role and looks forward to fostering relationships across the Rochester area. She worked for over a decade in higher education as a collegiate cross country, track and field coach and administrator, and loves the process of watching people discover who they are and how they’re going to make their mark on the world. Dani believes that women can do and be anything, with the help of a few cups of coffee and a run each day.
Senior Administrative Assistant
Nicole comes to the DICK’S Sporting Goods family with eight years of fashion & retail experience and four years of administrative experience. She adores her two crazy, beautiful kids. She is most excited about working through a new store opening, connecting with others and learning how we can do more in the community! She loves spending time with her friends and family as much as she can and has high hopes the Buffalo Bills will win the Super Bowl next year!
Rock Wall Lead
Jess grew up in the rural forests of New York but, after attending Nazareth College, has made Rochester her home. She has found irreplaceable connections in the outdoor and climbing communities here. She loves to embrace new climbers the same way she was embraced, creating new opportunities for people to discover climbing for everything it gave her. Meet Jess at our Rock Wall for a climb!
Health & Wellness Lead
Eric graduated from SUNY Oswego with a BA in Health and Wellness Management and a minor in athletic coaching. He has five years of volunteer baseball coaching experience and is now certified as a New York State Baseball Coach. He worked with PAC, a specialized baseball training facility based in East Rochester, where he organized practices as well as directed team strength, conditioning and flexibility workout programs. Eric is passionate about all team sports and has a strong interest in body maintenance and recovery—catch him any day of the week to talk about massage therapy. See him in Health & Wellness, code word: foam rollers.
Sports Programming Lead
Throughout his undergrad career at St. John Fisher College, Matt found a passion for working in and around events. He has previously interned in the St. John Fisher College Athletic Department, helping coordinate Division III athletic events, along with interning at a company in Syracuse, NY, assisting in the coordination of youth baseball tournaments around New York State. At DICK’S House of Sport, on The Field, you can always find Matt bright and early setting up equipment and programming needs for upcoming events with a spirit that’s contagious. In his free time, he enjoys hitting up local breweries near Victor, NY, and one of his many hobbies is photography. Strike a pose and smile with him any day!
